I have been working as a personal caregiver, specializing in newborns and young children since 2010. I have international experiences and am fluent in German and English. I enjoy working in a collaborative environment in which I can use my extensive knowledge of age specific developmental, cognitive, social and psychological milestones to assist the family in raising their children. I hold certifications in DBS, first aid, have a valid EU passport and a drivers license (2007) with a clean record. I have a rudimentary understanding of baby sign language which was very helpful in some of my former positions as a nanny with young children, which were not able to yet to verbally communicate. I also finished my education as a nursery nurse/pre school teacher assistant in 2014 as well as in hospitality in 2008. I’m very organized, hands on and hard working. Punctuality, open communication and kindness are a matter of course for me alongside safety, respect and empathy. I would describe my nannying style as “firm but fair” with lots of music, creativity and outside activities involved. I was a competitive dancer in ballroom dance in the past and like to use my skills to develop body consciousness and musicality/rhythm.
