New to the Au Pair route. I’m Leah, a 24 year old female. I hold a full, clean driving license with my own car. I hold a level 3 BTEC extended diploma qualification in Health and Social Care. Having 2+ years professional experience with children. At 15, I started off volunteering at primary schools working with children aged 8-9. I helped these children with their work in groups and 1-1. I currently work the NHS on a children’s ward, working with children from new born to 18 years old. The job requires me to have completed a care certificate and thorough training on many topics including; paediatric first AID, safe guarding, NG feeding and more, which I am happy to show you proof of! This job enables to me to look after children with different medical needs and disabilities; which means I am comfortable and confident to look after children who have additional needs. Many babies get left alone, this leaves staff to look after them like one of their own, which I love doing and i’m good at. Working with children is something I have always wanted to do; with aspirations of being a Teacher. I have experience in dance and gymnastics, so I would love to be able to be apart of a family whose children do those activities.
