We're a young family who have just relocated to Nuremberg from the US and are looking for a warm, experienced nanny to become a trusted part of our family life. We're hoping to find someone who loves caring for babies and is excited to grow with us as we settle into our new home here in Germany. ## About the Role This is a full-time, live-out position caring for our infant during the workday. Both parents work full time, so we're looking for someone who is confident and caring working independently with a baby. The role runs Monday to Friday, either 9–5 or 10–6. Day to day, you'd be: - The primary caregiver for our baby during working hours - Creating a calm, nurturing daily routine around naps, feeding, and play - Supporting early developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities - Helping with light baby-related tasks and occasional simple meal prep for the baby ## What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is kind, reliable, and genuinely loves caring for infants. Experience with babies is important to us, and we'd love someone who brings warmth and calm to our home each day. Fluent English is essential — German or French is a wonderful bonus, but not required. ## What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience. Hallo liebe zukünftige Nanny, wir sind eine junge Familie und studieren beide Medizin. Ich (Marten) werde im Frühjahr mein Studium beenden und ab August als Assistenzarzt arbeiten. Leah ist im praktischen Teil des Studiums und muss dafür jeden Vormittag 4h in die Klinik. Außerdem ist sie aktuell mit unserem zweiten Kind schwanger, dass im Juni geboren werden wird. Wir wollten mit unserem ersten Kind eigentlich zu einer Tagesmutter. Nach sieben Monaten erfolgloser Eingewöhnung mussten wir leider feststellen, dass das für sie nicht das richtige war. Da sie sich zu Hause, unabhängig von der betreuenden Person, deutlich wohler zu fühlen scheint, glauben wir, dass eine Betreuung bei uns daheim besser klappen könnte. Außerdem könnten so beide Kinder zusammen sein. Wir suchen daher eine Person, die sich liebevoll und verlässlich von Montag bis Mittwoch vormittags ca. 5h am Tag (7:30-ca.12:30) um zwei kleine Kinder kümmern kann (spielen, betreuen und Essen machen). Eine Betreuung im vollen Umfang besagter 15 Stunden pro Woche bräuchten wir spätestens ab Mitte Oktober, da zu diesem Zeitpunkt Leahs Elternzeit endet. Das erste Kind wird dann zwei Jahre und das zweite Kind fünf Monate alt sein. Bei Interesse würden wir uns über ein baldiges Kennenlernen freuen. Falls es zwischen uns passt, würden wir bereits ab Anfang September mit ein paar Stunden pro Woche als eine Art Eingewöhnung starten. Wir freuen uns darauf, dich kennenzulernen! :)
