I am a native English speaker (currently learning German at A2 level) and have just relocated from Sydney, Australia to Berlin. In Australia, I worked as a support worker for two years providing support and care for people with disabilities, this included a pair of twins aged 9 years old. Previously, I volunteered as a youth mentor for a 12 year old at-risk boy living in residential care. In addition, I also have lived experience babysitting friends and family, including my young cousins, aged 6 and 9 and my younger brother with severely low functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder, aged 13. At the moment I volunteer at a Berlin based NGO where I occasionally supervise children aged from 9 months old. I completed a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Psychology. I have a personal interest in psychology and visual art.
