I have been living in Berlin for five years now, having traveled from London. I am currently working as an Early Years English Teacher, teaching English as a second language to children aged between 5-8 years. Lessons are taught in a fun and active way; playing games, singing and dancing, reading and listening to story books, short films and, bookwork. The main aim is for the children to have fun whilst learning English. Additionally, I work seasonally as a camp director, managing up to 50 children. As well as teaching I also am solely responsible for the day to day running of the camp. I am an incredibly empathetic person but at the same time greatly respected as a director. I am able to remain calm in an emergency situation and respond effectively. I have also gained ample experience as a childminder in London and Berlin; having had the pleasure of working with many families, children aged between 4 months and 13 years, undertaking full daytime and evening care responsibilities. I love working with children and I idolise Mary Poppins, encapsulating her in everything that I do. I have received positive feedback; highlighting my brilliant communication and interaction with children.
