Hallo! I'm an American living in Tegel. Fully vaccinated! I am in a German integration course from 9-12:30 mon-fri. After that my days are open. I have experience caring for newborns/infants, toddlers and young children. When I first moved to Berlin I was an au pair for a 6 month old. Some of my duties included feeding the baby, changing diapers, running errands and walking the family dog. Most recently I cared for 2 children:1 and 3 years old. I planned activities such as having picnics, going to a playground or going on bike rides, as well as feeding them and practicing English with them. I've always had a passion for childcare, so as a teenager I was a nanny and I taught both private and group dances classes for 6-8 years olds. I love being a part of a child's formative years and watching them begin to explore the world around them. I have a master's degree in theater, and I always like to introduce the arts to children. I believe they're a very important part of child development and it encourages them to express themselves. Whether it's music, reading, or crafts, it engages their minds and kick starts their creativity. I feel comfortable with meal prep, bed time routines and pets, and I am certified in CPR.
